Ann Curry has confirmed she is leaving the “Today” show.
The NBC morning show co-anchor will make the announcement on Thursday’s show.
“I’m going to have to tell our viewers. That’s what makes me more emotional than anything,” Curry tells USA Today.
She continues, “I don’t want to leave them. I love them. And I will really miss them.”
The veteran journalist says she has an inked a multi-year deal to stay with the network working on international, as well as national, stories.
She’ll also contribute to shows like “Dateline” and the “NBC Nightly News,” where she’ll serve as a sub-anchor when needed.
