The death of Beastie Boys member Adam Yauch at just 47 years old on Friday hit a lot of fellow performers very hard.
Last night, Coldplay paid tribute to Yauch (also known as “MCA”) during their show at the Hollywood Bowl.
Chris Martin and the band played a slowed-down, touching version of the Beasties’ hit “(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)” — calling out Yauch by name and sending their love to the New York group.
