The future King of England probably shouldn't quit his day job.
Scottish TV viewers tuning in for the lunchtime weather forecast Wednesday had the report read to them by a very special guest: Prince Charles himself, on a visit to the BBC Scotland studios in Glasgow.
The 63-year-old heir apparent--and father to Princes William and Harry--read from cue cards, adding his own commentary to the prepared script.

After informing viewers of "the potential for a few flurries over Balmoral [one of the Royal family's Scottish estates]," Charles looked off-camera, asking, "Who the hell wrote this script?"
Moving into the weekend, the royal announced that Scots everywhere would be dealing with a "cold day . . . with temperatures of just 8 Celsius and a brisk, northeasterly wind," adding cheekily, "Thank God it isn't a Bank Holiday."

The Prince and his wife, the Duchess of Cornwall--whose official Scottish titles are the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay--visited the television studios to mark sixty years of BBC Scotland TV.
