Like several other past “American Idol” winners, David Cook returned to the show on Thursday.
The season 7 champ performed his brand-new track, “The Last Song I’ll Write For You.”
Carrie Underwood, Kris Allen and last year’s winner, Scotty McCreery, have also performed this season.
