“One Direction’s Harry Styles To Play Mick Jagger In Upcoming Film,” reads a headline from the unreliable HollywoodLife.
According to the webloid, the young singer is set to star as Jagger “in a new film about the Rolling Stones frontman’s life.”
The bad blog then quotes a “source” as saying, “Harry on stage can pass as a dead ringer for Jagger,” adding that “he’s going to be a serious candidate to get the part” in the film, Exile On Main St.
So, when will there be an official announcement about Styles’ role as Jagger?
The same time HollywoodLife gets a story right, which is about a week from… never.
Styles’ agent tells Gossip Cop exclusively that the report — picked up and disseminated widely — is “completely false.”
Unlike One Direction, HollywoodLife is again off key.
