A couple of weeks ago, a webloid with virtually no traffic manufactured a rumor that 98 Degrees was reuniting.
Hacks like Perez Hilton and others naturally picked it up, and reported that the boy band would embark on a 15-city tour this summer.
Well, the rumor was (and is) NOT true.
Anyway, Nick Lachey finally Gossip Cop’d the story and tweeted, “So psyched to see all the excitement for a 98 degree tour, but the only tour I’ll be doing this summer is at baby’s ‘r us!”
Repeat: Despite the previous rumor, 98 Degrees is NOT reuniting for a summer tour.
