Adam Levine “Rejects” The Voice Winner Javier Colon?

Truth rating: 1

(RadarOnline)

“Looks like Adam Levine has no more love for ‘The Voice’ season one champ Javier Colon,” begins a piece from RadarOnline, which goes on to claim that the Maroon 5 frontman has refused to perform with Colon during Tuesday’s elimination show.

According to a so-called “source” for the webloid, “The show wants to make it seem like since Javier is the winner he can carry his own performance without a celebrity by his side. But that’s not really the case.”

The purported insider says, “Javier approached his old coach Adam about singing backup vocals or playing the drums during his performance, but Adam rejected the idea.”

How come?

Levine supposedly said “he would only consider collaborating with Javier for the performance if it was a cover, not his original song,” claims the alleged source, who adds, “Javier wouldn’t budge and neither would Adam.”

Really?

Not at all.

A spokesperson for “The Voice” tells Gossip Cop the blog’s report is ”not true,” explaining that Levine was never supposed to perform with Colon in the first place.

And a source inside Levine’s camp tells us the report is “totally not true.”
