Miley Cyrus is finally responding to rumors that she and longtime boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are engaged.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the rumor mill went into overdrive after Cryus showed off what appeared to be a diamond engagement ring on her left hand.
And though a source close to the actress-singer, who wore the ring at an event on Saturday (see photo at right), already told Gossip Cop the sparkler was not an engagement ring, Cyrus herself is now setting the record straight.
“I’m not engaged,” Cyrus tweeted on Monday, adding, “I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November!”
She continued, “People just wanna find something to tal [sic] about! It’s a topaz people!”
And there you have it.
