Bill Maher made a surprise announcement at the end of his “CrazyStupidPolitics” comedy special, which streamed live on Yahoo! on Thursday night.
The comedian donated $1 million to Priorities USA Action, a Super PAC that supports President Obama.
Anyone familiar with Maher’s HBO show “Real Time” knows he’s no fan of the Republican contenders for the White House.
But it’s still rare to see an entertainer really put his money where his mouth is, especially in such a public forum.
