Red Hot Chili Peppers Postpone U.S. Tour

Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced they are postponing their U.S. tour after frontman Anthony Kiedis suffered a foot injury.

The tour, which was set to kick off in Sunrise, Florida on January 20, will now begin March 29 in Tampa Bay.

“Red Hot Chili Peppers regret to announce that they must postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by Anthony Kiedis,” the band said in a statement.

The statement continues, “Anthony recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery.”

All 23 dates have been rescheduled, with the final stop now set for October 25 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
