Kelly Clarkson has been tapped to sing the national anthem at Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 in Indianapolis.
The “American Idol” winner, who performed last weekend on “Saturday Night Live,” will be joined by country music couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton, who are slated to sing “America the Beautiful” during the pre-game.
Madonna has been tapped to perform during the halftime show.
Last year, Christina Aguilera famously flubbed the national anthem’s lyrics at the Super Bowl in Dallas.
