After backing out of the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month, Katy Perry is now ready to make her first U.S. public appearance since splitting from Russell Brand.
The “Teenage Dream” singer is slated to host the GiveLove charity event at the grand opening of 1Oak at the Mirage in Las Vegas this Friday.
GiveLove benefits displaced people in Haiti.
Perry is expected to hand out a check to GiveLove’s founders Patricia Arquette and Rosetta Getty.
She’s not scheduled to perform at the event.
Perry recently returned to the U.S. from the Asian leg of her tour.
