Armie Hammer was arrested for marijuana possession in West Texas last November, but no charges have been filed to date.
The actor, who starred in The Social Network and J. Edgar, was detained by authorities in Sierra Blanca after a drug-sniffing dog discovered he had three medicinal pot cookies and one brownie, along with a very small amount of the illegal substance itself.
Hammer spent a day in jail and paid $1,000 bond.
The District Attorney did not prosecute Hammer, because he was carrying well under the 4 ounces of actual marijuana necessary for a felony charge.
His lawyer says no lesser charges have been filed.
